It’s Throw Back Thursday – #TBT! Time to share the hideous display of the trends of years past in all their glory! Does that remind you of your logo? AWKWARD!
Admit it. Your company is hanging on to the same logo to avoid reprinting the 5 billion pieces of collateral and that big sign on your door. It seems like such a daunting task, but is it worth hanging onto? Not really. Especially if you want to be relevant in today’s market.
If it’s been a while since you really took a good long look at your logo, now may be the time! Make it your #TBT, and start moving forward!
Let’s see where you stand. True or False:
- Our logo represents how I feel about our company.
- I’m proud to hand out my business card.
- Our logo looks great on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- I love our logo, because it reminds me of good times.
- Our logo still represents what we do today.
If you answered mostly true, congrats! You can share a totally killer photo of you from high school instead of your dated logo!
If you answered mostly false (or more false than you’re comfortable with), it’s time to get a professional!
Because you want to grow! You want your company to appear relevant to attract your target market! You may need your brand strengthened to start hitting sales goals and represent how your company really is today!
How did you score? Tell me below!
If you’re ready, I’m here to help! And yes, that’s me in high school. You’re welcome.
Hello everyone, my name is Ricky. I’m your friendly neighborhood video nerd and today I wanted to share with you something that I get really excited about. Sharing ideas.
This passion of mine has grown over the past years as I’ve become more aware of the power of sharing your ideas. I love the quote by Derrick Sivers,
“Something that is obvious to you might be amazing to someone else.”
One of my favorite online personalities is Kid President. He is a 9 year old boy who has become an online sensation because he shares his ideas with the world. Through his videos he has inspired thousands to donate socks to the homeless, give the gift of books and school supplies to schools in need, and dance (this kid really loves to dance). All of that was possible because he shared his idea that the world could be better if kids and grown ups work together.
The reason videos go viral, tweets get retweeted, posts get shared, is because people like Kid President are sharing their ideas with the world.
I love making videos because for me it’s the best way to share ideas with people. You can make people experience a place they’ve never been, explain how something works, or share your passion with like minded individuals. I love sharing ideas because ideas can change lives.
What ideas do you have to share with the world?
